Ritual Chants are a collection of ancient chants re-cast in a modern idiom, for use in church services or in concerts. Most are for specific services, while some are for general use. They are designed to be as practical as possible, thus allowing their performance by ensembles of wide ranging composition, ability level, and aesthetic direction (as is typical in today's church music ministries). Their intent is to embue the ancient chants with new vitality, and make them more engaging and accessible to modern ears, so these few chants we still use will not disappear altogether.
